Easy Win

I was reading the autobiography of Andre Aggasi. "Open, it’s a great book.
Man describes what his mental state looked like when he was at the top of his game. He would turn up at a match, see his opponent, and think to himself: "Why did this guy even show up? You know there's zero chance of winning. You're about to get rekt".
And then did exactly that.
And when a local business owner asks me for help, I feel the same way.
The only reason is that I know how to win. Been doing it for a very long time for my own business, and now I’m doing it for clients.
Think about this.
If you run a national business, you're up against companies with entire marketing departments. And the only thing these people do is think about how to outmarket the competition.
If you run a local business, then you are competing against people doing everything else. They know marketing needs to be a priority, but they are doing too many other things that it goes on the back burner.
That’s why it’s a no brainer to work with local businesses. If you bring someone who’s only focus is on marketing it becomes really easy to beat the competition. And the edge just gets bigger and bigger with every week that goes by.
Choose your battles and pick the ones you can win. Builds momentum, builds confidence, builds revenue.
Clients want to work with winners.
