Why Simple Google Ads Always Beat Complex Ones (And How to Fix Yours)
Writing this in a thunderstorm, the WiFi signal is so weak you'd get something better in a polar bear infested cave in Antarctica. It would be a miracle if this is even posted. On the level of Nixon having a phonecall with those astronauts after they landed on the moon. Using a landline.
Want to talk about something most people miss.
The One Rule That Never Changes in Marketing
I've been running ads for some time now, lots of things have changed, but only one thing has remained the same.
"Simple beats complex"
So far in physics and real life a straight line is the shortest path between two points. If you deviate from that and introduce static it kills conversion.
In normal people talk, complicated things confuse people and confused people do NOTHING.
They don't book a meeting.
They don't buy.
They don't call.
Why?
Because they are confused, and YOU confused them.
How to Simplify Your Google Ads for Better Results
If the gods gave me 100 new accounts to manage, I'd probably simplify 97 of them.
Simplify the offer. Simplify the ad. Simplify the CTA. Simplify the landing page.
Less static, less noise, fewer potential obstacles for your prospect to trip over.
This is what we do for every local business Google ads campaign we run. Strip out everything that doesn't directly lead to a sale or a phone call.
One clear message. One obvious next step. One straight line from search to customer.
Keep it simple. Don't confuse anyone.
You'll beat 99% of your competition that way.

Roberto
