Every Successful Ad Has This
I know you know this feeling.
You’re excited because you just started running an ad on Meta. Thinking about all the leads and sales you’ll get.
One day passes, you check it, and nothing. No leads, no sales.
Two days pass, still nothing.
A week passes, crickets. You start to panic and wonder why it isn’t working.
And 99% of the time, this one thing is either missing or not done correctly.
Since middle school, people have been taught to follow instructions, so it’s kind of hardwired inside them from a young age.
But most people are lazy and if you give them very complex instructions, they will just ignore you and go back to scrolling TikTok
And that’s the issue you’re having with your ads as well. The key element of every single successful ad in human history, and even before that is missing.
In fancy marketing talk it’s called a CTA or Call To Action.
In normal people talk is the instructions you give to the reader on what to do next. Because if you don’t, they won’t do anything.
Why would they? They saw your ad, you had their attention for 2 seconds, and they continued scrolling because you didn’t interrupt their pattern.
And by giving a clear and easy CTA, if they are interested in what you offer they will do what you are asking of them.
It’s as simple as that.
Start thinking about telling people what to do.
