How To Make Sure Your Business Lasts For Generations
When building a house, what is the first thing you need to do?
If you said anything other than the foundations, thank god you’re not building a house.
Because a strong foundation makes or breaks everything else. And the same is true for your business.
Was talking with a client yesterday, making plans about how to rank him on top of Google. In all his years in business, he had only relied on word of mouth to get new customers.
And he was telling me how, for the past year, the word-of-mouth customers decreased 90% putting him in a very bad position.
But it’s now just him. I’ve seen this happen, and it’s going to happen to tons of other businesses because of one mistake they are making.
They put 100% of their trust in one thing.
Like my guy I spoke with, he had 100% of his trust in word of mouth, and when that failed he was left with nothing.
He didn’t have an alternative way to get new clients.
No emails, no ads, no nothing.
