Stop Barking
Hi,
It's Roberto.
I noticed something very weird, most successful business owners are either very smart, or very dumb.
It's like that bellcurve meme with the genius on one end and the caveman on the other end.
That's where successful people live. Never in the middle, never lukewarm.
The ads we’ve been running for a client are doing VERY well. So well that we got him from 4 to 5 figures a month. That's a big difference.
We speak once every two weeks, I tell him we are doing great and we agree to increase the budget (because we are profitable) and we go off to do our work again.
Most successful clients I have are like that. Low on the details and very easy to work with because they let you do your thing.
Probably has a lot to do with why they're successful.
David Ogilvy -advertising legend- used to say:
"Don't hire a dog and then bark yourself"
These days kids all say: "Let him cook". I guess that's the modern equivalent of that saying.
If you're running ads - let them play out before drawing conclusions.
Doing outreach? Give it some time. Let it breathe. Develop. See where it goes first.
Life is much easier on the right end OR the left end of the bellcurve.
Life is only extremely hard when you're in the middle of the bellcurve.
So get out of there. Trust the process and just keep blasting.
Talk soon,
Roberto
P.S. If you run a local business and you're doing well but you want to do even better?
