Stop Randomly Throwing Things
Hi,
It's Roberto.
Everytime I do client work I expect to add a lot of things.
New pages.
New emails.
New content to their Google My Business Profile.
New ad campaigns and angles and offers and guarantees and creatives and soooooo much more.
Just one problem.
Adding stuff is the worst thing you can do.
Imagine you're a doctor with a patient in front of you, his stomach hurts.
You react by giving some opioids to him.
After all, this makes total sense!
Man is in pain. Opioids are good against pain. 1+1 = 2.
And also this is a great way to lose your medical license very fast.
Since he’s there you need to actually figure out what is wrong with him and figure out a cure.
Randomly adding things to the mix will most likely not work and probably get him killed.
The same goes for marketing.
Before you start adding stuff to GMB... let's first get a feeling for WHY we're not ranking #1 yet.
Before you start adding new campaigns to Google Ads... let's see how the current campaigns perform and what we could improve.
Before you start filling up Meta with new creatives... let's see how the campaigns do right now and what elements we could double down on.
Stop randomly throwing pills at things. It ruins your results.
Talk soon,
Roberto
