Because every single time I log in the Google ads account for a client, and I mean every single time, they are using the 'Performance Max' campaign.

And every time it's missing the performance part. Just abysmal results all around. 

A Performance Max campaign has its time and place.

And If you don’t know what you are doing with Google ads... this is not the time nor the place. 

So instead, just start with the basics. Just go with search. Test some stuff.
